Get spoiled by amazing staff and service!
We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Villa Turquoise! The villa is very tastefully decorated, and the layout is very comfortable. We especially enjoyed the covered terrace upstairs. It rained quite a lot while we were there, but this covered terrace was always sheltered and a very comfortable space to relax and read on the couches, or have our meals at the massive dining table. The chef is really brilliant, so I highly recommend you go with a catered option, or have the staff source the ingredients (as grocery shopping is not easy or obvious on Zanzibar) and chef will spoil you with 3 delicious meals per day! There are also two wonderful housekeepers to take care of your every need, along with the House Manager, Donna, who will organise everything for you... nothing is too much trouble and she is always available to answer queries or resolve any issues. She even specially sourced some excellent wines for us which is not easy in Zanzibar! The snorkeling around Mnemba island, which is a short boat ride away, is beautiful and was a real highlight... we even saw dolphins! We also enjoyed cycling along the endless beach at low tide. Thanks to Bart and his excellent team for a memorable stay!”
